Community Helpers

On 6th of January, kids came to the nursery wearing their community helper costumes and shared their views on what the job is about and how they contribute towards the community.

“Community Helpers Day” is a wonderful way to broaden the child’s knowledge and help them learn about the world beyond home–their community. This topic is important as it brings home to children for a lot of reasons such as safety, thoughtfulness and understanding the way the world works. This encourages them to address the people in our neighborhood with politeness and try to show them that they should feel safe and that these people take care of us.
